Orlando H. Ortiz, Esquire

Mr. Ortiz is a licensed attorney in the States of Florida and Georgia, as well as in the U.S. Southern District of Florida. With over two decades of legal expertise, Mr. Ortiz is a seasoned attorney who has made his mark in the fields of criminal and civil law. His specialization in personal injury and auto insurance matters has made him a trusted figure in the legal community. Prior to establishing his private personal injury practice, Mr. Ortiz held a key role as In-House Counsel for a prominent auto insurance company in South Florida, where he diligently served for over 14 years. During his tenure in the insurance industry, Mr. Ortiz not only honed his skills as a trial attorney but also shared his knowledge by training associate attorneys, staff, investigators, and claims adjusters. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in legal studies with a minor in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida in 1999, where he was also a founding member of the UCF Mock Trial Team. He later obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the Florida State University Law School in 2002, where he served as the assistant editor of the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy Review. Mr. Ortiz began his career at the Miami-Dade Office of the State Attorney where he proudly served for four years as lead prosecutor, managing a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases within Miami-Dade County. Currently, Mr. Ortiz is continuing his pursuit of legal excellence by pursuing a Masters-in-Law (LLM) degree in the field of Cyber Law and Data Privacy.
