Steve Sims

Mr. Sims has over 40 years of C-Suite executive-level insurance experience within the property and casualty insurance arena. Mr. Sims has held and excelled in various C-Suite positions including, Co-Founder, President and Board Member of WRM America Indemnity (WRMAI), an A.M. Best A-rated carrier dedicated to education, government, and non-profit institutions. Mr. Sims was instrumental in the creation, fundraising, and strategizing of the transition plan which led to the carrier’s creation and continued success. Further, he held a senior management position at Marsh and Willis for the Managing General Agent (MGA) operations. He excelled in profit and loss management, reinsurance purchases, budgeting, underwriting operations management, claims, risk management and business development. In addition, he holds Resident Insurance Licenses in the state of Florida and is licensed in the state of Texas, as well as most other states for General Lines (Property and Casualty) 2-20 and Surplus Lines 1-20. Mr. Sims received his BS degree in business administration at the University of Alabama and later obtained an MS degree at the same university. In addition, he attained his Masters in Capital Syndication Finance at the New York University.
